Get to Know Me!
My Story:
I come from a family of engineers and entrepreneurs who ran a tool and dye business in the suburbs of Detroit. At the young age of 16 my mother was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. In two short years of battling the illness she passed away in March 2008 just before my high school graduation. I was 18 years old in the heat of the Great Recession. The family business went belly up, the stock market was nearly cut in half and my father who was on the brink of retirement was somehow able to keep it all together and help what was left of our family. I was completely lost in life. I worked odd jobs and went to college on and off for a year or so until I finally went away to become educated. I attended Central Michigan University and I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship and marketing in 2014.
That led me to opening and registering a real estate and mortgage brokerage with my long time best friend where I obtained my real estate salesperson and mortgage loan originator licenses. We both moved to the city from the suburban house we were roommates at. Him and I plus the team we created had a blast painting the town red and traveling the world. We partnered with the city and large lending institutions to help low income communities in residential areas across southeast Michigan. He’s the true definition of a best friend and is the greatest example of grit and determination in my life. He would never back down from anything. Sadly he became terminally ill with the same rare form of brain cancer my mother suffered from. It didn’t seem so rare to me and I relived the trauma from years past. As our businesses were starting to gain traction, his cognitive and physical abilities began to slip from all the treatments and operations. At the end of 2018 during his standoff with brain cancer, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life to leave the businesses we created. Our deep friendship and brotherhood remained. A venture that taught me so much about life, business and communication.
In 2019 I became a financial advisor with Edward Jones in St. Clair Shores, MI where I passed my Securities Industry Essentials exam and obtained my Series 7, Series 65 and life insurance/annuity licenses. I was helping clients with portfolio construction, retirement accounts, college planning and inheritances. Soon after, Covid took hold over the world and my best friend passed away in October, 2020. Fortunately, as an advisor, I was able to help him and his wife with advice and estate planning for the inevitable financial transition. I managed a growing practice with assets totaling over $10M and 150 clients ranging from big to small. Not long after that I received a better opportunity to work for a startup firm in Troy, MI that assisted retirees with life insurance, annuities and advanced estate planning. That was short lived as some promises were not kept but I continued to stay positive and move forward.
During that period and a small pause in career, I met a woman who was able to transform me. I am fortunate to have had her as such an influential part of my life. We helped each other in many different ways. I helped organize her financial life. She helped turn me into the man I am today. She made me aware of my easy attachment to people and things. I neglected myself for others over many years. She taught me the difficult lesson of self respect in a tender way. Together we experienced the best of what Detroit had to offer. Life took us our separate ways but she will always have a piece of my heart.
I remained in contact with a successful entrepreneur I met while doing business in Detroit. He chose to take me under his wing and sponsored me to become a member of the Detroit Athletic Club. My life began to change rapidly for the better as I took control of myself after years of heavy grief. I was dedicated to becoming the best version of me both mentally and physically. My simple motto was “health, mission, simplicity”. I was on the verge of metamorphosis. That coincided with me working at one of the largest financial firms in America. In 2022 I joined Fidelity Investments where I broadened my career in finance. I enjoyed my time at Fidelity and learned so much about big box financial practices. I worked there for over three years and assisted high net worth clients with stocks, options, fixed income, margin, investment advice, and long term retirement planning.
After a fruitful corporate tenure among those topics, I began to question what it was that really sparked my drive in life outside of the financial aspects. The simple answer was nature. I left Fidelity Investments mid 2025 and sold my home in Detroit to pursue my master’s degree in forestry at Michigan Tech University. Forestry has introduced me to timber valuation, wildlife habitat suitability, land management practices and so much more. With a new found skill, I am able to help a diverse clientele with property, land and financial decisions with my businesses. All of this resulted in where I am today. I have an incredible sense of gratitude and I am ready to fully serve others the best way I can.
If you’ve made it this far, I want to personally thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. At the end of the day, I believe our story is the most important thing that humans can share with each other. I look forward to learning yours and getting to know you better as we begin to work on life changing projects together.

My Dream…
I am an avid disc golfer, hiker and skier. Nature has always been my escape from the pressures of life. As a young adult I had the dream of creating a disc golf course and recreational area in my home state of Michigan. Owning land, managing the course and helping others with my skill set is what I am on the path to accomplish. If you read my story above you may be able to see how this all lines up and I am getting ever closer to realizing this dream. The combination of forestry, real estate and finance work perfectly together to obtain this goal. If you would like to assist with this endeavor or have ideas that support it please contact me and we can discuss things further.
